Ingredients:- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef chuck
- 1/4 cup italian bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup ketchup, plus more for serving
- 1 small onion, grated
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup grated Gruyère or Cheddar (3 ounces)
Next time, I will cook the bacon first. I also, highly recommend doing this as the texture of the bacon in the meatloaf wasn't very appetizing. I know the picture doesn't look very appetizing but it really did taste pretty good.
